Delta | Pompei Rediscover Collection

In 1996 Delta achieved international success by offering the Pompei Limited Edition. Pompei was Delta*s first pen made in celluloid, and featured the very classic filling system, the lateral lever. One of the most characteristic details of the Pompei was the Pompeian red coloration, an unavoidable chromatic choice due to the fact that the walls of the houses of the ancient Roman City were painted in this red tonality. Recently, as a result of a sensational scientific discovery, some investigators have demonstrated that the true color of the walls of those houses was actually *yellow*. This incredible news has led Delta*s artisans to again take inspiration from *Pompei*, and develop a new collection of writing instruments utilizing the *yellow* as the base color of this new impressive and precious celluloid, interlaced with antiquing streaks and a sterling silver cap ring. The fountain pen is available with either a converter/cartridge fill or piston filling system.The piston fill model is slightly wider and longer than the other version. The fountain pens are enhanced with a 14kt gold nib, available in M, F, XF and B widths. Each pen is individually numbered.
