In this new recreation, the metal is first hollowed out by master craftsmen to reveal the detailed design. Lacquer is then meticulously applied and then the piece is polished to reveal the contrast between the sheen of white metal and the dark brilliance of deep blue lacquer. The cap is finely engraved with a delicate design that is an extension of the barrel design.
