Generally speaking, the left-handed writer has a tendency to write by keeping his pen in an up-right position. So, Sailor has fashioned the pen point with a pronounced round shape. Some left-handed writers adopt a *hooking grip* method of writing. To accommodate this writing style, Sailor has cut the left side of the pen point.
