The Great Characters Edition of 2015 is honoring the most outstanding POP art artist Andy Warhol. He was most famous for a huge variety of artistic techniques like drawing, printing, photography, filming and writing. The design reflects some of his most famous works. The design of the Writing Instruments is inspired by his Artwork *Campbells Soup Cans* with the colors of the Edition
referring to the colors of one interpretation of the the soup cans. The collection is in blue precious resin and the clip is a reference to a silk screening squeegee and the shape of the cap and cone of the fountain pen and rollerball symbolize a can. The fountain pen is enhanced with a 14kt gold nib engraved with the $ sign a further famous art work from Warhol and is available in medium and fine. Piston fill.

The design of the Writing Instruments is inspired by Andy Warhol*s Artwork *Flowers 1964*. The Rollerball is made of silver-grey lacquer with platinum-plated flower motif and 4 flower motifs in a 2 by 2 formation are worked into the stainless steel cap and filled with lacquer in 13 different colors. The grey and silver color code of this edition bears a reference to the *Silver Factory*, his studio in NYC, with the clip picking up Warhol*s silkscreen printing squeegee. The bar code on the cone refers to Andy Warhol*s fascination with consumerism and commercial art as well as to the POP ART movement.
