![]() The in-depth study of geometry during the Renaissance allowed painters to move away from a chronological illustration of reality in favor of a 3-dimensional representation. In fact, linear perspective generated an optical illusion: a flat 2D surface was perceived as a 3D image. Meisterstuck Geometry uses a repetitive hexagon motif to generate an optical illusion and beautiful light reflections. This restage of the Geometric Dimension line is also inspired by Montblanc*s long lasting tradition in geometrical form. The barrel and caps of the Solitaire Geometry instruments are fully covered in a Platinum or Champagne Gold coated engraved geometrical pattern with an optical effect. In the Doue Geometry, the caps only are likewise Platinum or Gold covered and the barrels are black precious resin. The fountain pens are enhanced with an 18kt gold nib available, in M and F widths. The LeGrand fountain pens are piston-filled and the classique fountain pens are filled via cartridge or the included converter.
