S.T. Dupont | Atelier Collection

The Atelier Natural Lacquer collection is among the finest that La Maison S.T. Dupont has to offer. Dupont was inspired to recreate its classic designs; its master lacquerers use authentic natural Urushi lacquer that is hand-gathered and blended like wine. Hand-applied in layers using an age-old technique called *Popote*, the lacquer has a sheen and depth that no synthetic can equal, a silky pearl-like feel, and a high resistance to scratches and heat. For the Atelier collection, Dupont engraved its vintage script logo on the pens band. The date 1953 and the Dupont *winged wheel* symbol is finely etched on each piece to note the founding date of the Faverges workshop. All Dupont Urushi lacquer products carry an engraved tree leaf symbol. The numbered collection is offered in beautiful blue or warm brown Urushi lacquer with gleaming gold-plated accents. Dupont now offers the Line D Atelier writing instruments in a large size in all modes: fountain pen with Duponts finest 14K gold nib available in M, F, XF and B. Cartridge/converter fill the collection is completed with a matching convertible rollerball. and twist ball pen.
