 Pirelli Great Masters Collection
The Meisterstuck Great Masters Pirelli Limited Edition 1872 merges the art of writing with the art of making tires. The collection celebrates the know-how of the Pirelli craftsmen, known as *sgorbiatori*, who meticulously hand carve tire patterns; taking days to create even just a single prototype. These Pirelli Masters – both technicians and engineers – provide a key contribution to the research and development aimed at making the experience of driving with Pirelli tires a memorable one. The Great Masters Pirelli is a limited edition of 1,872 fountain pens and rollerballs, commemorating the year the company was founded in Milan, Italy. The cap and barrel of the LeGrand size pens is made of rubber embossed with a design inspired by the Pirelli archives. The cone, cap top, clip and cap ring are Ultra Black ruthenium-coated; the cap top has a lacquer ring in Pirelli red and the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl and onyx. The Medium width fountain pen nib is 18K solid gold, ruthenium-coated, and engraved with the iconic Pirelli ‘long P’ logo. Piston fill.
