![]() One of the first Montblanc writing instruments ever produced, the Rouge & Noir created in 1906, is the inspiration behind the Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Collection, including its newest members, the Montblanc Heritage Rouge Baby Special Editions. Like past editions in this collection, the Rouge & Noir Baby honors treasures from Montblancs archives with a modern reinterpretation emphasizing the timelessness of the Maisons dedication to quality and pioneering innovation. Inspired by the original Montblanc Baby pens from the 1920s, Montblanc reinterprets the then unexpected design and gives it a modern twist. The name Baby playfully describes its small size compared to other Montblanc writing instruments. Created with black precious lacquer, with platinum-coated fittings, or precious ivory lacquer with gold-coated fittings, each instrument is crowned by a Montblanc emblem in precious resin surrounded by the iconic coral hue of the Montblanc Rouge et Noir collection. The handcrafted Au 585 solid gold nib features a drawing of the Montblanc Mountain, available in M and F widths. Cartridge fill. The Collection is completed with a matching rollerball and ballpoint pen. Each instrument is just shy of 4 inches long in the closed position.
