The new Pineider Avatar Traveler, a state of the art fountain pen that establishes a new reference for all those who consider the pen an inseparable tool. The Traveler combines the typical characteristics of the Avatar line: UltraResin material, magnetic closure and a refined, quill-shaped spring clip, with a novel new filling system that allows for complete safety when traveling by air. The amazing Twin Tank Touchdown filling system resolves once and for all the problem of using the fountain pen while traveling the pen can be transported in a backpack, briefcase or bag without the risk of leakage! The plunger works with the principle of the inverted syringe when you press the seal, it creates a vacuum which sucks in the ink when fully depressed. To load the pen, the plunger is unlocked and pulled out until fully visible. The nib is dipped into the ink and it fills the barrel as the plunger is pressed back into position all in one swift movement. The Avatar UR material is a mother-of-pearl and resin compound with characteristics that make it nearly indestructible and offer protection from extreme heat and cold. The demonstrator fountain pens have a sleek steel nib and come in your choice of Devil Red, Graphene Black, Neptune Blue, Clear or Forest Green. Bottle fill only.
