It is Retro 51's honor to partner with the USPS on a series of pens spotlighting the Post Office, its history and story. From the Pony Express to modern Electric Vehicles, the United States Post Office has a proud tradition of delivering the mail to even the most remote regions of the country. The Route Master evokes the iconic vintage postal vehicles of yesteryear. The Red, White and Blue along with the historic eagle logo harken back to a simpler time and remind us how vital the United States Postal Service is. This Tornado rollerball has an acid-etched barrel with the light texture paneling and rivets seen on the vintage USPS vehicles. The metal barrels are then printed with the iconic eagle logo and vehicle markings complete with gloss black trim topped with another Eagle icon on the finial. Each one is loaded in the USPS branded tube to store your Retro when it's not in use. Pick up this new licensed design to start delivering great ideas at home and the office. This Retro51 Tornado rollerball pen features the 2021 USPS Love Stamp silkscreened on the stainless-steel barrel and finished with a gloss varnish that is complimented by the polished chrome trim. Each Tornado's top ring features an engraved USPS logo plus the pen's serial number engraved for this running series. The textured knurl-top twists to extract the smooth-flowing rollerball refill and then closes with a twist in the opposite direction when not in use. Finally, each pen is topped with a graphic finial with one more heart looking up at you when it's stored upright in your pocket or purse.
